NEP is currently accepting resumes for candidates to join as a Machinist in its Niagara Falls, Ontario, production facility.
The incumbent will be responsible for loading large horizontal boring mills with parts, performing various machining cycles, and unloading parts. The incumbent will ensure that all machining activities meets the firm's stringent quality requirements and all parts are within tolerance. The incumbent shall also be able to create and modify G-code as required. The incumbent will also be responsible for day to day maintenance of the horizontal boring mills.
The successful candidate will hold, as a minimum, a college diploma in a related field and 3, to a maximum of 5, years' experience in a CNC machining role. The candidate will have excellent written and verbal skill in the English language and will be capable of reading mechanical blueprints.
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, the successful candidate will also be responsible for:
Operating all conventional mills, drills, saws etc.
Loading, setting and unloading their work center and capable of transferring the completed component to the next work station
Meeting production and quality requirements
