Job descriptions
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Director, the Machinist is responsible for creating, manufacturing, dismantling, reassembling, restoring, and installing maintenance parts, as well as performing preventive maintenance on equipment.
Working Conditions:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Status : Permanent

Main tasks and Responsibilities:
Participate in the design and manufacture of new maintenance parts (R&D) Dismantle, reassemble and restore maintenance equipment parts Perform mechanical preventive maintenance on machines Follow safety measures imposed by OHS managers Maintain quality standards in accordance with ISO requirements
Requirements:
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in machining technology Be autonomous in conventional machining Experience in the manufacturing field (an asset)
Desired Skills:
Highly developed attention to detail Ability to provide support and solutions to production Ability to read and interpret modification and manufacturing drawings Ability to operate various tools and machines (lathes, milling machines, surface, and cylindrical grinding machines) Autonomous and organized Good team spirit * Good analytical skills
