Job Description


Machinist (Journeyman / Apprentice) Isolation Equipment Services is currently seeking a Machinist who\xe2\x80\x99s primary responsibility would be the production of components using a manual lathe. Offer:

  • $24-$40/hr depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday work week, eight hour days.

Credentials: As a Machinist, you will help create tools and other components using a variety of equipment, such as a manual lathe and mill, CNC Turning Center, CNC Machining Center, a drill press, a micrometer and grinding machines. The ideal candidate has begun or completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or earned a machinist certificate from a vocational school and has at least one year of manufacturing experience. Prior roles as a lathe operator or in another manual machining positions would be an asset. Job Overview:
  • Read blueprints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job
  • Follow the blueprints to create the appropriate tools and components
  • Operate machines to grind, cut and polish materials
  • Finish projects using manual tools
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order
  • Keep work station and area clean at all times
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 75lbs.
This is a safety sensitive position that requires the applying individual to pass a drug screening before being hired on. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $24.00-$40.00 per hour Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
