Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and a passion for precision manufacturing. This role involves operating CNC machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the highest quality of machined components. The Machinist will work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and CAM programming software Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy Perform electrical discharge machining as required for specific projects Maintain tooling and hand tools in good working condition Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with engineering teams using SolidWorks and CAD software for design modifications Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste Assist in assembly processes as needed, including plastics injection molding

Experience

Proven experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools and welding techniques Familiarity with basic math concepts related to measurements and calculations in machining Experience operating forklifts is a plus Knowledge of tooling requirements for various machining operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.80-$28.00 per hour
