Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations
- Use SolidWorks and CAD software to create and modify designs
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Assemble, weld, and fabricate components as needed
- Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and implement lean manufacturing principlesRequirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering specifications
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Ability to operate various machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders
- Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and assembly techniques
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certificationWe are looking for a skilled Machinist who is detail-oriented, has a strong mechanical aptitude, and is experienced in operating a variety of machine tools. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and be proficient in reading blueprints and using SolidWorks or similar CAD software. This position requires the ability to assemble, weld, fabricate, and perform routine maintenance on machines.
