Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations
- Use SolidWorks and CAD software to create and modify designs
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Assemble, weld, and fabricate components as needed
- Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and implement lean manufacturing principlesRequirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering specifications
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Ability to operate various machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders
- Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and assembly techniques
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certificationWe are looking for a skilled Machinist who is detail-oriented, has a strong mechanical aptitude, and is experienced in operating a variety of machine tools.
