Reports to:

Afternoon Shift Lead and Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Operate machinery in a safe manner at all times. Operate manual and automatic grinding equipment Operate manual saws Operate automatic machining system Use verniers measuring parts to criteria Load and unload kilns. Inspection and packaging of finished goods to ensure it meets customer criteria. Pack product according to specific procedure. Participation in 5S teams for each department. Other duties are required

Qualifications:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment, an asset. Must have reliable attendance. Experience with calipers and micrometers is preferred. Accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills. Ability to multitask. Ability to work in a fast -paced environment. Motivated, who always thinks in a positive proactive manner. Ability to be on their feet for the entire shift. Requires the ability to lift over 50lbs several times during the shift, unassisted. Quick learner who easily adapts to change. Must have reliable transportation. Able to work overtime, as required.

This is an afternoon shift position.

Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.97 per hour
