We are seeking a

DZ driver with tilt & load and rigging experience

to join our team. This is not a long haul or just a driving position, the position is a combination of 20% truck driving/80% rigging along with working with millwrights and other tradesman as required. Drivers are part of our machinery installation/relocation crews as well.

As our truck driver/rigger, you will:

Safely operate a heavy-duty flat bed truck to transport goods/materials to and from job sites Complete daily checks and maintenance, promptly reporting any issues Be responsible for all aspects of truck, such as condition of equipment, loading or unloading, along with safety and security of cargo Drive company equipment in a safe and defensive manner, comply with all safety rules and regulations and Ministry of Transportation laws Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manlifts Disassemble/reassemble machinery Move and install machinery Level and anchor machinery Be rigging and using hand tools Establish and maintain positive customer relations when dealing with clients during pickups and deliveries Adhere to company and customer policies and provisions Must maintain excellent punctuality and attendance record

MUST

assist team members to complete tasks Do heavy lifting, manual work and use installation tools as required Additional duties as required
The Ideal Candidate will:

Have a valid DZ license with 5 years driving experience Have a clean Drivers Abstract, including no DUI violations in past 5 years Have a good understanding of rigging and able to move and load safely and efficiently Be willing to work long, non standard hours when the need arises Be able to do heavy lifting, manual work and use installation tools as required Be physically able to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and walk as needed Have the ability to work alone or with a team Have strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Have the ability to navigate using GPS to ensure timely deliveries

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
