BWS Manufacturing Ltd., a trailer manufacturer in Centreville, NB is looking for a

Machine Shop Technician

who can operate press, shear, saws, iron worker and drills. This position is all about keeping the equipment running and proactively staying on schedule. The successful candidate must be very good with a measuring tape

The work is repetitive, very demanding and requires attention to detail. You must be a self-motivated individual who can multi-task and resolve problems. In this role, you need to have a keen eye and question the things that don't look right.

To do this job successfully you need to be able to stay focused, group similar work, maintain a flow and always be thinking ahead. Ability to operate CNC equipment is essential along with a keen eye for reading prints and communicating any concerns.

Duties, Equipment, machinery Set up and operate machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations, such as turning,
milling, drilling, boring, planing, honing, broaching, grinding or other machining operations. Performs routine maintenance, checks
dimensions of machined parts, and ensures compliance with safety standards. The role may include programming computer numerical
control (CNC) machines and interacting with technical drawings to manufacture trailer components. Read and interpret work orders.
Weight handling : Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Personal Suitability Team player.
Education Secondary school education is required. Other trades certi cate or diploma or equivalent experience might be considered.
Language English
Experience 1 year to less than 2 years preferable.
Work Site Environment Noisy, Hazardous material, Physically demanding.
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available.
