As a Machine Safety Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting our teams and optimizing our industrial equipment. Your expertise in risk analysis and safety device design will ensure that our facilities comply with the most stringent standards, including ISO 12100, ISO 13849 and CSA Z432.You will be at the heart of the action, working closely with the maintenance, health and safety and engineering teams to design safety solutions tailored to our industrial operations and equipment. University degree in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering, or in a related field
Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingxc3xa9nieurs du Quxc3xa9bec (OIQ) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
Bilingualism required, French and English, as you will be communicating with colleagues from across Canada
Significant experience in industrial machine safety
In-depth knowledge of machine safety standards and regulations (ISO, CSA, ANSI, OSHA, etc.)
Experience with safety control systems and associated technologies (safety PLCs, safety relays, sensors, etc.)
