Is currently looking to add a Machine Operator to our team. Permanent Weekend Shift Machine Operator Schedule: Friday to Sunday 6:00am to 6:30pm As a Machine Operator you will:

• Use the appropriate machine (CNC Router, Brake, Shear) to cut and/or bend various materials used in the production process
• Ensure efficient use of materials to minimize scrap set up and adjust machines and equipment
• Perform basic maintenance
• Assist in other fabrication stages as workflow demands
• Sand and deburr pieces as needed
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders
• Inspect materials and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
• Ensure the quality of all parts conforms to specifications

As a Machine Operator you will have:

• Machine operator (saw, ironworker, shear, forklift) experience an asset
• CNC experience an asset
• CNC programming skills, an asset
• Experience and ability using hand tools
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32\xe2\x80\x9d tolerance
• Understanding of the production process in terms of quality and quantity
• Understanding of quality measurements to adhere to ISO requirements
• Conscious of and adhere to safe work practices

As a Machine Operator you will be able to:

• Stand for more than 8 hours in a shift
• Climb a ladder and stairs multiple times per shift
• Kneel, crouch and crawl for extended periods of time
• Carry, push, pull and lift up to 50lbs
• Reach forward and overhead at or beyond a full arm\xe2\x80\x99s length for an extended period of time
