Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forming Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating precision flow forming machinery, maintaining production standards, and producing high-quality components to exact tolerances. This role involves conducting first, in-process, and final inspections, performing machine adjustments and basic maintenance, and ensuring efficient production flow under the guidance of the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities



Operate and monitor flow forming machinery to produce high-quality parts to precise specifications and tolerances. Perform supporting tasks such as deburring, grinding, cleaning, and packaging components as required. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to ensure consistent product quality and process compliance. Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections according to customer and quality standards. Accurately read and use measuring instruments such as height gauges, vernier calipers, and micrometers. Record material, production, and quality data, including entries on Production Report Logs, Lot Tracking Sheets, and ICS Sheets. Identify and communicate any out-of-tolerance conditions, deviations, or equipment issues to the Supervisor immediately. Perform routine maintenance, tool changes, and minor mechanical adjustments under supervision. Operate pneumatic and electric tools safely and in accordance with company safety practices. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all housekeeping and safety protocols, including PPE requirements. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues and achieve daily targets.

Experience



Proven experience as a Press Operator, Forming Machine Operator, or CNC Production Machinist within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications. Proficient in using precision measurement tools, including micrometers, vernier callipers, and height gauges. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Requires repetitive motion including forward reaching, gripping, and occasional kneeling or stooping. Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality parts. Knowledge of materials, forming processes, and general machining practices. Demonstrated ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain quality documentation. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Committed to workplace safety and compliance with OHSA standards and company safety policies. Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing production priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
