Machine Operator

Jayne Industries is a steel manufacturing company seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, production-based environment and are eager to learn and develop their skills in steel manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently

Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

Maintain consistent production output while meeting efficiency targets

Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions

Assist with basic machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications & Skills

Strong eagerness to learn and develop new skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes Mechanical aptitude and interest in machinery High importance placed on efficiency, punctuality, and attendance Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-based environment Ability to work rotating shifts (days and afternoons)

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to perform repetitive motions in a production environment
