Machine Operator

to help keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.

Position Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented

Machine Operator

to join our food production facility. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment used in the preparation and packaging of our signature perogies. You'll work closely with our production team to ensure products meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate food processing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently Monitor machinery during operation to ensure consistent product quality Perform routine equipment checks, minor maintenance, and cleaning Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and report complex problems Follow production schedules and adhere to food safety guidelines Maintain accurate records of batches, materials, and output Work collaboratively with the production team and supervisors to meet daily targets

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Machine Operator in food manufacturing or a similar environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 25-50 lbs Knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP is an asset Willingness to work flexible hours as needed (including early mornings)
