About the Role:

We are looking to welcome an energetic self-starter, mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Digital Corrugate Production team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and embraces our Continuous Improvement working culture.



The Esko Table Operator plays a critical role by helping produce Digital Items and working as a team in a manufacturing environment. We are hiring at our Mitchell Island location at 11300 Twigg Place on our afternoon shift:

Monday-Friday, 3:15pm-11:45pm

Responsibilities:

Responsible for operating our Esko tables to cut Digital items using different types of Corrugate accurately and in a timely fashion. Ensure Digital Items are cut correctly using the proper files and measurements Navigate through the computer to select proper files and set up Esko Tables with correct measurements Utilize small tools to change Crease Wheels and Cutting Blades Be able to load tables with board (helper available) Pull board off from tables and strip off trimmed areas Palletize orders, wrap, strap, and label Operate Pallet Jacks to move materials Read and understand Job Instructions, follow instructions as needed Complete orders in a timely fashion and be able to follow a production schedule Keep accurate counts Responsible for the quality of products manufactured Able to follow company rule and regulations

Qualifications and Skills:

Effective communication skills and ability to follow written instructions Ability to work well with people in a team environment Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Desire to learn and succeed Good organization skills and reliable work habits Basic computer skills Previous machine operating experience is preferred * Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds, as this position requires lifting, bending and moderate physical exertion
