Canterbury is seeking a highly motivated

Machine Operator

to support the Manufacturing team at our Richmond branch as a full-time, permanent member of the team.


As a part of the Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient packaging of products to meet all production schedules and product quality specifications. You will also be responsible for conducting any on-the-line quality checks to ensure finished product meets all product specifications for proper packaging material, net weight, seal integrity, labelling, case count and palletizing.

You have:

High School education or GED required Forklift certification Class 1, 4, & 5 an asset Previous experience with SQF, HACCP, GMP and safety programs is considered an asset A minimum of 1 year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset

You are great at:

Communicating Working under pressure Working in a team Meeting deadlines Maintaining a high level of attention to detail Following Instruction Staying flexible to work shifts Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
