Job Summary



The Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring continual flow of production material to meet or exceed production standards.



Essential Job Functions *



Turns machine on/off. Operates hopper, bowl, and track to allow continual flow of parts. Ensures parts are lined up on magnets correctly. Monitors machine to identify and dislodge parts that become jammed. Isolates non-conforming material in red bin and reports this to Q.A. Assistant. Cleans machine, pump, bowl, and surrounding area. Monitor's bin or cartons receiving finished product. Ensures that training is provided to the appropriate employees. Ensures proper protective equipment is worn by employees. Comply with company policies and procedures. Support and follow internal health and safety programs and protocols. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Education & Experience



Secondary school diploma or higher. Previous experience working in Manufacturing is an asset.

Competencies - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



Heavy lifting may be required (up to 35 lbs). Must have an eye for detail. Communication skills - written, verbal and ability to read and understand internal documents.
