Our New Machine Operator:




As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring material and finished pieces meet the quality requirements. Produce parts from drawings and reporting non-conformances and working to solve known issues. Set up and operate the CNC Engraver/Router/Laser machine. Perform engraving, lasing and routing on elevator fixture panels by following related CAD Schematics.


The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and operate CNC machines as required by the work order specification.

What you bring to the role:



College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent CNC professional experience At least 2 years of Manufacturing experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to read drawings an asset Excellent written communication, organization, and prioritization skills Ability to lift loads up to 50lbs

What you will do in the role:



Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machine. Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce outputs according to specifications. Inspect and measure finished products and parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments (e.g. Micrometers, Vernier calipers) while infilling and cleaning engraving in a timely manner. Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. Analyze job order and performs necessary calculations. Makes improvements to set up times for tasks and simplify tooling time for workers and increases productivity for the client. Provide feedback to project managers on design, modifications etc. Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Other duties as required. Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 15%, noise 10%. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.

This position is located at 6635 Ordan Drive in Mississauga, ON.

Hours are typically Mondays to Thursdays from 7:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 7:00am to 3:30pm.




This is a Full-time, Hourly position.
