What You'll Get to Do

The

Metal Door/Storefront Fabricator

is focused on the general fabrication and assembly of doors/framing using hand, power tools and fabrication equipment, while producing a high-end product safely and reports to the Fabrication Lead Hand

.

This role is perfect for an individual who

pays attention to details, a team player, and loves to build

. A vital member of the Fabrication Department this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.



Job responsibilities include:


Safely perform work as assigned by Lead Hand in a timely manner. By referring to the fabrication package, locate specific product in the facility, to cut and prepare for assembly. Handle product in a manner that will not cause damage to the product or injury to self or others. Recognize product defects and notify management team immediately of any issues. Read, understand and communicate paperwork and labels.

What We Are Looking For

Experience reading and understanding fabrication drawings. Experience using powered industrial tools and taking precise measurements. Regular and predictable attendance; safely performing tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job. Responsive to change in priorities and immediate demands. Possess organizational skills.

Working conditions & Physical requirements

Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floor for eight or more hours. Must be able to wear company issued PPE. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly. Be able to remain in an upright position for long periods of time.

Daily and/or weekly overtime available but not required
