About the Role
AtlantiCann Medical Inc. (AMI) is currently seeking a machine operator to run our pre-roll machine. This role will be responsible for assisting the Packaging Manager and Packaging Leads in creating an effective team environment by operating the JuanaRoll machine. They are responsible for performing assigned packaging tasks according to standard operation procedures with efficiency, and are responsible to ensure the machine produces an assigned minimum of pre-roll units on a daily basis.
Hours of work
: Currently day shift (6:50 AM-3:20 PM, Mon-Fri). Schedule may change as operations grow; reasonable notice will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Operate JuanaRoll machine with efficiency and accuracy
Conduct regular maintenance and sanitation procedures on JuanaRoll machine
Inspect the components of the JuanaRoll machine and any related equipment during sanitation, installation, and operation to ensure its proper function and cleanliness
Troubleshooting for JuanaRoll machine to ensure its continuous operation
Visually inspect, identify, and address product quality issues during machine operation
Maintain and verify JuanaRoll records with speed and accuracy using good documentation practices
What You Bring
Must be 19+ years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation to and from the facility
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Site Conditions & Physical Requirements
Comfortable with exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust, odours, extreme temperatures, and water.
Comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment while on the production floor.
Have the physical ability to lift and carry 35 pounds
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
