PURPOSE:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detailed oriented Machine Operator for our morning shift to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating machinery, including Toyo, KHS, Rollstock and Multivac or similar. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Must have an open work permit.

These positions require you to work in a cold environment. The right candidate will be able to work under minimal supervision and be able to work with other members of the team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for setting up and operating machinery, checking al controls for adherence to operating/safety procedures and standards, equipment troubleshooting, quality control inspections, and data recording. Interact with production team members, quality control, quality assurance, and maintenance technicians to improve safety, quality and maximize plant output. Refers issues/problems to maintenance and /or packaging supervisor. Conduct equipment changeovers to accommodate production demand. Assist on other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to withstand cold temperatures as plant is refrigerated. Ability to stand, bend, and reach for long periods of time. Ability to work independently, and a part of the team. Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Must be success-driven and have a "can do attitude".

Must have reliable transportation as we are not on a bus route.

Knowledge of GMP's and HACCP principles is preferred. Previous experience in a Food Processing Facility is preferred but not required. Previous experience as a Machine Operator is preferred but not required.
