Machine Operator

for one of our clients in

Huntsville, ON

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety

Work in compliance with the

Occupational Health & Safety Act

and company safety regulations Use required

personal protective equipment (PPE)

at all times Report any equipment issues, hazards, or unsafe practices to your Supervisor Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

Machine Operation & Production

Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks Set up and operate various light and heavy metalworking machines such as shears, power presses, saws, drills, brakes, slitters, punch presses, CNC equipment, and hand tools Operate machinery or equipment to weld, solder, bolt, screw, or rivet metal parts Inspect finished products to ensure proper dimensions and quality standards Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs or adjustments as needed Transport materials manually or using cranes and hoists Complete production documentation and records accurately Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts when necessary Perform general physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift Follow standardized production and quality control procedures Perform basic quality inspections and ensure product consistency

Additional Duties

Build staging or scaffolding as needed Operate small tooling and assist with production setup Palletize boxed products and count up to 200 units per run Lift up to

45 lbs

independently Operate a forklift (training provided if necessary)

Schedule

8 to 10-hour shifts Monday to Friday

Day shift

Qualifications

Education:

Secondary School Diploma (preferred)

Experience:

Minimum

3 years as a Machine Operator

(required)

Language:

English (required); French not required

Forklift experience

is an asset (training available)
