Position Overview:
The Machine Operator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of automated and semi-automated equipment within our logistics facility. This position supports daily production, packaging, and distribution goals by maintaining quality, accuracy, and workflow standards in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
Operate, monitor, and maintain assigned machinery and equipment to meet production and shipping targets.
Perform start-up, shut-down, and basic troubleshooting procedures according to standard operating guidelines.
Load materials or products into machines and ensure continuous and accurate output.
Conduct quality checks to verify product specifications, labeling, and packaging integrity.
Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and stand-up forklifts as needed for material handling.
Follow all safety policies and procedures, reporting hazards, malfunctions, or near misses immediately.
Assist with line changeovers, adjustments, and preventative maintenance as directed.
Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely product flow and order completion.
Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reporting documentation.
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and GMP standards.
Support cross-training efforts and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need:
High school diploma or GED required.
1-3 years of experience operating machinery in a logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred.
Experience with packaging, conveyor, or labeling systems considered an asset.
Certification for
Stand-up Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Stand-up Forklift
(required).
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with strong communication skills.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Basic computer literacy (data entry, reporting systems).

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
