King Asphalt Maintenance is looking to hire a hardworking and experienced

Asphalt Roller Machine Operator

to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience and proficiency in operating an Asphalt Roller.

Related experience in other paving machinery considered as asset.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate roller equipment to compact asphalt or concrete during paving operations. Monitor the quality of the surface being paved, making adjustments as necessary. Ensure compaction meets quality and density requirements. Conduct daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance.

Other Related Duties:

Load, unload, and move construction materials around the worksite. Work with the team to ensure timely completion of paving projects. Maintain equipment as needed. Assist labourers with physical tasks as needed - assist in the installation and maintenance of asphalt surfaces. Perform other duties as assigned. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

Ensure worksite safety by following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Willingness to engage in physical labor including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Valid G-Licence required. Must be able to commute to and from shop/jobsites. A positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with co-workers. Willingness to work flexible hours.
