Your typical day
You arrive and get changed into your uniform and then go to your work room and do pre-operation equipment checks. Use the forklift to get bulk cream totes from our fridge to prepare for unloading. You precheck your cream tanks and pipe setup.
Now it's time to get the machine up and running, so you complete the startup sequence and perform necessary safety checks (as required under legislation). You hook up to your cream totes and start production. As totes empty, you wash them and swap them out with more. You will swap out with our other pasteurizer for lunch.
You keep an eye on the settings to make sure there are no missed heat treatments or safety issues. After several hours of running, its time to switch products, so you do the appropriate changeover, and get the next product running, making sure to update your records, and keep an eye on the settings. Finally, you are all done production for the day, so you rinse out the product and prep for a wash. Once it's in wash, you have half an hour to fill out any remaining paperwork. You finish your paperwork and go turn off the machine once it has finished its wash.
