• Explore suitable machine learning algorithms to assist automated IC design (ex. Chip placement & Routing phases)

• Work with the deep learning team to develop an optimized software solution for automated integrated circuit (IC) design

• Design and test IC benchmarks (from netlist to routed design) using open-source frameworks

• Identify and implement optimal algorithms for automated IC design

• Writing scientific reports;

Qualifications

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s or PhD degree in computer science/ electrical/computer engineering or related field

• Experience building Deep Learning / Machine Learning applications using Python and deep learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow

• Understanding of deep learning concepts & foundations

• Understanding of the IC design flow with a focus on Placement & Routing

• Knowledge of machine learning applications for automated IC optimization a valuable asset

• Experience using EDA tools for digital circuit design (Cadence, Synopsys, etc) a valuable asset
