Adds, Change (MAC) subject matter expert for the client and serves as the main point of contact for processes, procedures and protocols, including meeting key performance objectives (KPI) & service level agreements (SLA) related to daily service deliveries. This role includes direct reports and operates as a Player/Coach role for the entire team.WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DOMove/Project Management

  • Manage all project activities on account
  • Proactively manage project-related issues on account
  • Ensure JLL best practices and policies are being followed
  • Provide leadership and guidance in the area of service delivery quality and monitor quality results
  • Ensure operations manual is in place and updated on account
  • Participate in select planning meetings hosted by the client, JLL teams
  • Review project status and tracking reports, process purchase orders and invoices for due diligence and financials
  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk
  • Ensure project processes are managed in accordance with the client\xe2\x80\x99s and JLL policies and procedures
  • Evaluate vendors to ensure compliance with the standards of performance
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to time & expenses, ethics and business practice.
Client Communication and Management
  • Understand and manage client expectations, interact positively with client, provide diplomatic, constructive and productive feedback to accomplish end result
  • Establish regular communication channels with client and partners to obtain feedback and provide team updates
  • Coordinate smooth staff transition with the client and stakeholders when needed
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with MAC services.
  • Develop strong client relationships and ensure services are delivered with quality. Directly responsible for enhancing and maintaining existing client relationships and by developing new relationships.
People Management, Leadership, and Teamwork
  • Be directly responsible for attracting, retaining, developing and managing a team of people (4 or more) who are involved with a specific set of clients, functions, business unit or projects
  • Recommend and/or take actions regarding team talent (with involvement of HR; Sr. Team Lead, or RMD)
  • Manage directly RPM staff, and delegate responsibilities and oversee work on multiple projects of varying complexity to Sr. Managers as applicable
  • Sponsor an internal activity or group focused on improvement of job knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Conduct bi-annual IPMP reviews
  • Review, revise, reconcile and verify invoices within the timeframe specified by accounting
  • Manage, review and approve all reports for submittal to client
  • Assure completeness of all internal project administrative close-out activities
  • Manage the KPI process as applicable
Talent Management
  • Provide recommendations regarding additional training and development of personnel
  • Directly responsible for attracting, retaining, managing and developing talent for the team, providing career guidance and coaching
  • Function as a subject matter expert for a specific product or service
  • Identify key win themes, develop detailed scopes of work and approach
  • Participate in industry, networking, and educational events; with confidence, represent JLL\'s core business
  • Partner with business line leaders on growth of account
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert as needed to support growth.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with Cost Savings, and Value Add\'s.
  • Optimization of Relocation Project Management processes and people to achieve reductions in cost and increase productivity
  • Support the development of metrics, incorporate into product guidelines
  • Understands, assesses and mitigates risks and outcomes affecting the SL
  • Miscellaneous
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to time & expenses, ethics and business practice.
  • Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
WHAT WE\xe2\x80\x99RE LOOKING FOR
  • 2 years+ as Sr. Move Manager or related experience
  • 6 - 10 years of facility, project or construction related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment.
  • Background in project management, construction management, architecture or project strategy planning is desirable.
  • Proficient in FM: Systems move management module and/or facilities management system.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong Microsoft Projects skills
  • Ability to utilize the Microsoft Office suite of technologies.
Other abilities
  • Has successfully managed relocations involving over 500 employees.
  • Background in project management, construction management, architecture or project strategy planning is desirable.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients

  • Ability to manage all aspects of move management projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to Budgeting, Scheduling and Change orders
  • Previous experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring and evaluating several move managers at various levels within the organization/team
  • Capacity to deal with ambiguity and address complex problems
  • Physical work requirements and work conditions
  • Position may work primarily at client site or project location with potential daily client and contractor interaction.
  • Position may require after hours and weekend work in support of project delivery.
  • Face to face and/or remote daily interpersonal interaction is usually required in order to perform the job.
