The job involves:

Maintenance, new installations and retrofits for plumbing, heating, and cooling systems. Ensuring the completion of all "on-demand" work orders and "preventative maintenance" work orders Inspecting and certifying work to ensure compliance with project specifications and municipal building codes. Working with external contractors by providing escorts, assistance and direction Excellent guest service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with guests Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation Working independently and in a team environment Flexible to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

Minimum 5 years progressive Plumbing experience Valid Certificate of Qualifications for Plumbing- 306A ticket Gas or steam fitter license Previous experience in the hospitality and/or service industry Skills in all aspects of general construction and all trades Ability to read blueprints Knowledge and experience with Victaulic rolled groove pipe and fittings an asset Knowledge and experience with the Victaulic press fit piping system and asset Must hold a class G Driver's License First Aid/CPR certificate and Fire extinguishing handling an asset
