As a key member of our team, the Lube Technician brings to life the ultimate service experience. As a general service technician, you'll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services. These tasks can include performing routine vehicle maintenance, including:

fluid exchanges and oil changes visual safety and courtesy inspections mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires testing and replacing batteries changing bulbs, belts, and hoses maintaining and cleaning shop areas other shop maintenance items as needed

Responsibilities:

Performing requested repair work in a productive and efficient manner Performing Oil Changes & Quick Lubes in an efficient manner Performing Tire Changeovers & Wheel Balancing Light Duty Repair work - Wipers, Air & Cabin Filters Repairing vehicles under warranty to manufacturer specifications Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed Continuously learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology. Must follow all company safety policies and procedures. Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent Must have at least 1 year of experience as an Oil Change Technician Must have a valid driver's license with clean abstract Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information Must have basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance First Aid and WHMIS an asset Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service Working knowledge of shop equipment Ability to learn new Service techniques and procedures Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment
