Job Description

The O'Neill Auto Group is looking to hire a Lube Tech/ Oil Ramp Technician to maintain and service customers' vehicles at our luxury dealership, Global Imports in Mount Pearl.

To be successful as a Lube Tech/ Oil Ramp Technician, you should have strong mechanical skills and adhere to all safety procedures and practices. Ultimately, an outstanding technician should be able to communicate effectively with customers and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities:

In the position of Lube Tech/ Oil Ramp Technician, you report to the Shop Foreman and work in all areas including, but not limited to:

Working alongside trained technicians to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs Assisting technicians as needed Performing multipoint inspections, oil changes, tire changeovers, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs Insuring safe operation of ramps and shop tools Attending training classes and departmental meetings Performing cleaning duties as required Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must hold a valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair Previous dealership experience is considered an asset Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Detail-oriented Excellent time management and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills Must be able to provide a Certificate of Conduct

Additional Information:

$17.00-$19.00 per hour Bonus structure
