We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales leads through various channels including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Identify market opportunities and generate profitable business growth.
Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations and rate proposals.
Collaborate with operations to ensure service quality and on-time delivery.
Prospect, develop, and maintain new and existing LTL customer accounts.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals that effectively communicate the value of our products/services.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation and brand awareness.
Track sales activity, pipeline, and revenue targets in CRM tools.
Track sales activities and report on performance metrics to management regularly.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in LTL or freight transportation (asset-based preferred)
Strong understanding of freight rates, lanes, and carrier operations.
Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proven track record in sales or customer service roles is preferred.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
