Responsibilities:
Lead robotics classes for students aged 3.5-12.
Guide students in completing hands-on robotics projects.
Classroom management and organization, including room setup.
Create and follow structured lesson plans.
Engage students and maintain their focus on project completion.
Clearly communicate instructions and supervise junior instructors.
Contribute to developing robotics curriculum.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of robotics tools such as Lego EV3, Lego WeDo, or similar platforms (an asset).
Previous teaching experience with students aged 6-16.
Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
Interest in developing robotics projects and expanding students' STEM knowledge.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within one month of hiring).
Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
Valid G license or access to a vehicle is an asset.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience with Lego Spike Robotics sets
Prior experience working with children.
Familiarity with software like Scratch and Tinkercad.
