Pinnacle Medical Centres, a leading Family Physician Medical Clinic in Calgary, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Clinic in Trinity, SW Calgary. Responsibilities:

Gather all relevant information for patient visits, including encounter notes, history, and symptoms, ensuring accurate documentation in patient charts

Assist in patient call backs at the request of physicians

Administer injections and perform ear syringing as required

Restock exam rooms with medical supplies and maintain cleanliness by sterilising exam rooms and beds daily.

Manage and order medical and lab supplies as needed

Maintain organisation of drug supplies and conduct monthly checks for expiry dates, ensuring compliance with CPSA standards

Sterilize equipment according to specific standards and regulations, utilizing the autoclave.

Set up exam rooms for procedures and physicals

Chaperone and assist during various medical procedures as requested by physicians

Maintain confidentiality and provide a comfortable environment for patients

Assist team members with various tasks throughout the day, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Experience with Microsoft Office

Active LPN license (Must provide copies at time of interview)

Experience with Med Access EMR system/Netcare

Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Initiative and a drive to contribute to the improvement of Pinnacle Medical Centres
