We are seeking a skilled and organized
Low Voltage Technician
to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various low voltage systems, including security alarms, fire alarms, surveillance cameras, network cabling, and telecommunication systems in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Install various low voltage systems, including security alarms, fire alarms, surveillance cameras, network cabling, and telecommunication systems in industrial settings.
Regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of existing low voltage systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Conducting thorough tests on installed systems to verify proper operation and adherence to safety standards.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine the best installation methods and system layouts.
Ensuring all installations and repairs comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
Depending on the project size, may be required to work independently or as part of a larger team.
Working with other technicians, contractors, and trade professionals to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Maintaining detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Organizing and labeling wiring and components, as well as ensuring proper use and maintenance of installation tools.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, network cabling, and telecommunication systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and local, provincial, and federal regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skill and ability to communication with other team members and clients.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
