$18.00+ per hour to start/at hire, to be reevaluated after probation

40-50 hours per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8-10 hour shifts

We are a locally owned and operated company specializing in low voltage cabling installation and other construction services for both residential and commercial environments. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality installations, and we are looking to add a motivated and reliable labourer to help us on various construction sites across Ottawa.

Position Overview:

This position involves the installation of low voltage cabling for various systems (including internet, telecommunications, and central vacuums) in new residential and commercial construction projects. If you have experience in cabling installation or are looking to enter the field, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation of low voltage wiring in both commercial and residential settings Prepare job sites and ensure materials and tools are ready Work independently to complete installations in a timely and efficient manner Ensure all installs are completed according to safety standards, company guidelines, and client specifications Perform general construction duties as required, including site cleanup

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience with cable installation (e.g., running CAT5e, CAT6, COAX & Fiber) or construction site experience Ability to work in all weather conditions year-round Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong attention to detail Comfortable working on construction sites and following safety protocols Flexibility to work varying hours, with shifts occasionally exceeding 8 hours Must have a clean background check, driver's abstract, and access to your own vehicle (job sites are not accessible by public transit) Class G driver's license required High school diploma or equivalent
