Swissport operates 50+ airport lounges across the world under the brand name of \xe2\x80\x9cAspire Lounges\xe2\x80\x9d. Our lounges are not quite caf\xc3\xa9s or restaurants but offer a haven for guests looking for a comfortable seat, complimentary food and drinks, great Wi-Fi and above all a fantastic experience before their flight, no matter the reason for the journey.

The Lounge Agent/Bartender will take care of the operations on a rotation basis related to the check-in process at the lounge, overseeing the bar, replenishing the bar, servicing guest requests as well as having tasks of cleaning up tables after client use.

Job Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons

\xc2\xb7 Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks

\xc2\xb7 Assess customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and preferences and make recommendations

\xc2\xb7 Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails

\xc2\xb7 Check customers\xe2\x80\x99 identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

\xc2\xb7 Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

\xc2\xb7 Comply with all food and beverage regulations

\xc2\xb7 Keep all passengers in the lounge informed regarding their flight departure and any other information pertaining to their flight

\xc2\xb7 Provide information of the airport and its facilities (Flight schedules and airlines information, direction to the departure gates, etc.) to the customers

\xc2\xb7 Responsible to restock shelves and coolers. Assist with inventory check

\xc2\xb7 Collect dirties and support the back of the house, ensure washroom checks are done

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that proper cleaning procedures are adhered to, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is always worn during the shift. Employees are expected to follow all health and safety regulations, enforced, and updated by the company

\xc2\xb7 Answer phone calls and other duties assigned as directed by the Lounge Supervisor

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)

\xc2\xb7 English, spoken and written

\xc2\xb7 Available to work the morning, afternoon, or evening shifts.

Qualifications

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 High School diploma or GED equivalent

\xc2\xb7 Passionate about customer service and must have relevant work experience

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years of experience in bartending

\xc2\xb7 Self motivated and able to work independently

\xc2\xb7 Attentive to detail and numerate

\xc2\xb7 Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required

\xc2\xb7 Communication and writing skills

\xc2\xb7 Ability to use computers and knowledge to work with Micro Soft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

\xc2\xb7 Good organizational skills and Ability to prioritize

\xc2\xb7 Positive attitude and self-motivated

\xc2\xb7 Able to stand for long hours
