Aunt Leah's Independent Lifeskills Society is seeking
Lot Coordinators
to lead operations at one of our 2025 Annual Christmas Tree Lot Fundraiser locations in Vancouver or Burnaby.
This is a hands-on, seasonal leadership position ideal for people with retail, volunteer coordination, or team lead experience who want their work to support a good cause. You'll manage daily tree lot operations, oversee volunteers, track sales and inventory, and help customers find the perfect holiday tree -- all while keeping things safe, smooth, and joyful.

full-time seasonal
role that runs from
November 17 to December 22, 2025
(or earlier if we sell out). You'll work
37.5 hours per week
, including evenings and weekends. Paid training provided. Locations are accessible by public transit.

What You'll Be Doing
Leading the daily operations of your tree lot
Opening and closing the site each day
Supervising, training, and supporting volunteers
Overseeing financial transactions, reporting, and end-of-day cash reconciliation
Managing inventory -- tracking trees in and out, coordinating restocks
Handling escalated customer concerns, refunds, and special requests
Working closely with the Operations Coordinator for logistics and site maintenance
Participating in setup, takedown, and deliveries
Ensuring your lot is clean, safe, and festive throughout the season
What You Bring
2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Sales or point-of-sale experience (Square POS is a bonus!)
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
Experience supervising volunteers or working with community-based teams
Basic familiarity with tools (drills, hammers, loppers, saws -- training provided)
Strong communication and organizational skills

Requirements
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
Must work outdoors in all weather (waterproof clothing and footwear required)
Able to safely lift and move items up to 50 lbs
Valid BC driver's license + access to reliable vehicle
Clean driver's abstract
Bonus If You Have
First Aid certification
Experience in non-profit, fundraising, or donor-supported programs
Experience managing small outdoor events or pop-up retail
Working Conditions
Must be available for
