As a Driver & Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through safe vehicle transportation, maintaining dealership grounds, managing tire storage, and supporting various logistical tasks. This role is key to maintaining the professional appearance and efficiency of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities: Tire storage, pick-up and drop-off service operations, shuttle operations, lot maintenance.
Report To: BDC Manager
Customer Service & Shuttle Operations
Greet all customers in a polite, professional, and friendly manner.
Drive customers to and from the dealership, coordinating multiple pick-ups/drop-offs using the internal log.
Drive company and customer vehicles safely, following the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.
Wear company-issued uniform and follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Customer Vehicle Pick-Up & Delivery
Coordinate and schedule customer vehicle pick-ups for service appointments.
Safely drive customer vehicles from their residence or workplace to the dealership.
Ensure all vehicles are handled with care and treated respectfully during transit.
Perform a pre-transport walk-around to document any existing damage on the vehicle.
Return serviced vehicles back to customers in a clean and presentable condition.
Maintain clear communication with BDC and customers regarding pick-up/drop-off timing.
Follow all dealership processes for documentation, vehicle handling, and customer interactions.
Vehicle Intake, Movement & Inspection
Check-in and park incoming vehicles, capturing all relevant information.
Perform full vehicle walk-arounds, noting and documenting all damages.
Retrieve, fuel, and inspect vehicles from the lot, compound, or off-site locations as requested.
Building & Grounds Maintenance
Maintain clean and professional dealership grounds including the lot, lawns, gardens, and fence lines.
Maintain clean and professional grounds at all satellite locations and compounds.
Keep walkways and doorways clear of snow and ice.
Assist with minor building maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs, HVAC filters, fence repair).
Tire Storage
Complete tire tracking logs and handle all tire drop-offs/pick-ups when requested.
Load tires in and out of delivery truck and storage container.
Transport tires between storage facility and dealership.
Lock storage containers once finished.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Valid Ontario G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Physically capable of walking, standing, and moving vehicles throughout the day.
Customer-focused and professional in both appearance and communication.

Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
