Overview:



As a Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are organized and easily accessible to show prospective customers.

Compensation:

$20 - $22/hr. based on experience + benefits

Reports to:

Service Manager

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Lot Attendant:



Maintain lot security and reporting any problems or crimes on the lot.

Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.

Responsible for moving recreational vehicles around the yard and into the shop for service.

Maintain the lot and keep the building clean.

Maintaining grass cutting and other maintenance.

Clean the interior and exterior of the units when necessary.

Ensure units are organized in a presentable manner.

Perform unit inventory and update the lot map each week.

Inspect and report any vehicular damages.

Move trailers to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.

Driving to pick up parts and delivering trailers.

Keep lots neat and orderly, move inventory as directed by the general manager and service manager in accordance with dealership display standards.

Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:



Must have a valid driver's license, clean driver's abstract.

Available to work weekends and overtime hours if necessary.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Self-directed, motivated, proactive, and accountable.

1-2 years lot attendant experience is an asset.

Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.

Ability and willingness to learn and strong attention to detail.

Positive interpersonal skills, attitude, and energy.

Flexibility, adaptable and able to multitask.

Ability to work independently or within a team.

Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.

Reliable transportation to and from work every single day.

Qualifications:



High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma); or 6 months to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous forklift experience preferred.

Valid New Brunswick driver's license.
