We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Director to lead our loss prevention efforts and safeguard company assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement and loss prevention strategies, with expertise in surveillance systems, including CCTV. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and implementing effective measures to mitigate losses while ensuring a safe environment for employees and customers.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive loss prevention strategies that align with company goals. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of surveillance systems, including CCTV, to monitor activities and deter theft. Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft or fraud, collaborating with law enforcement when necessary. Train and supervise loss prevention staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Analyze data related to shrinkage and develop action plans to address identified issues. Collaborate with store management to enhance security measures and promote a culture of loss prevention awareness among employees. Prepare reports on loss prevention activities and present findings to senior management.

Experience

Proven experience in a loss prevention role, preferably at a managerial level. Background in law enforcement or security management is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV technology and its application in loss prevention. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Strong leadership skills with experience in training and developing teams. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.
