Position: Loss Prevention Agent

Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time

About the Role

Are you vigilant, detail-oriented, and passionate about safety? We are currently seeking dedicated Loss Prevention Agents to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in preventing theft, minimizing loss, and ensuring the security of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor store premises and identify suspicious behaviour

Conduct regular security patrols and looking for potential suspects

Make recoveries from those suspected of theft in a lawful and respectful manner

Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records

Work collaboratively with store management and local law enforcement as required

Educate staff on security protocols and loss prevention best practices

Qualifications

Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or retail is preferred

Exceptional observation and communication skills

Ability to remain calm under pressure and in high-stress situations

Strong sense of integrity and professionalism

Valid Ontario security license

Knowledge of Canadian laws and regulations related to theft prevention is an asset

Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
