Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The painter must know the basics of painting, like masking, taping, cutting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and finishing projects across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of various painting techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. The Painter will contribute to high-quality craftsmanship while ensuring client satisfaction through excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects Perform restoration work on damaged or aged surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial environments Utilize hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment safely and effectively during painting tasks Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards Perform surface preparation including scraping, sanding, masking, and taping as necessary Assist with carpentry tasks related to painting projects when required Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting and carpentry tasks Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints Strong understanding of rigging procedures for lifting or positioning materials safely Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently Good communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration Familiarity with schematics related to industrial or commercial projects is a plus Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments
