About the Position:

This role centers on supporting a 5-year-old child who is enrolled in half-day kindergarten. The family is looking for someone with experience supporting neurodiverse children or those who benefit from additional emotional or behavioural guidance. An empathetic, structured approach and strong self-regulation skills are essential.

Schedule:

80 hours bi-weekly

Monday-Thursday: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Fridays alternate between: 11:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m and 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities:

Providing attentive, age-appropriate childcare Supporting emotional development and daily transitions Assisting with light housekeeping and family laundry Helping with meal prep and running household errands Driving the child to activities or appointments as needed

Location:

Southwest Calgary

Start Date:

Immediately but flexible

Commitment:

This is a long-term role, with a minimum commitment of one year or longer.

Additional Information:

The household includes one friendly dog weighing approximately 20 lbs The family anticipates welcoming a baby within the next year thus prior infant experience is considered a strong asset

Transportation Requirement:

Candidates must have access to a dependable personal vehicle and be willing to carry appropriate insurance for work-related use.

Mileage will be reimbursed at the CRA-approved rate.
