Reporting to:

Nursing Services Manager - Shoreham Village

Qualifications:

Must have a clear criminal police check with vulnerable sector search. Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Position Summary:

Focus on assisting resident visitations Screening of family/visitors Facilitates participation in Recreation Therapy Programs Supporting Food Services Responsible for providing assistance to units with daily routines and to residents/clients with activities of daily living. Performs light housekeeping duties (e.g. tidy room, clean closets, hang clothing) Engages in Conversation Accompanies Resident when walking Sets up Resident to wash hands and face Accompanies Resident to bathroom and monitor for safety Assists Resident to dining room; puts on clothing protector; cuts up food (with direction from care staff) Performs other related duties as required.

June 23rd 2025 - 8 Week Summer Term

Hours of work:

Minimum 35 hours biweekly
