As a Long Lead Material Expeditor, you will work with Supply Management and Business Stakeholders to develop and implement Expediting Management Plans. Your goal will be to coordinate and expedite the flow of both vendor and internal documentation, workflow, equipment, and material deliveries in accordance with the project's strategy, schedule, budget, and safety objectives. Your success will be measured by your ability to lead the expediting function within multiple projects and meet all project delivery requirements.

Your Responsibilities:Support the identification of long lead materials within the organization
Support the development, implementation and execution of expediting management plans within multiple projects in parallel, meeting project delivery requirements
Support the execution of project logistics and transportation
Review and monitor management expediting plans and identify issues requiring escalation
Provide regular status reports on the progress of expediting activities for each project
Coordinate with Buyers to follow up on third party inspection activities in close coordination with the Quality and Technical teams
Participate in Supplier Performance Evaluations and provide feedback towards continuous improvement
Develop and implement claim avoidance and mitigation strategies to support claims that may arise within contracts; draft and/or review letters regarding commercial/contractual matters
Your Skills:Strong knowledge and experience in transportation and logistics
Understanding of the dynamics of projects and the execution of expediting activities
Interpret business/stakeholder objectives and strategies and translate into the Planning Process
Ability to read and interpret Design and Construction drawings
Strong communication skills and ability to present to all stakeholder groups
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
Your Experience:Minimum 5-10 years of supply chain, operations, transportation and logistics, category management and/or in a project-based environment
Post-Secondary education in Business, P. Tech, CET, BEng, PMP or equivalent experience
Experience in the energy, oil and gas sectors would be an asset
