Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Long Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight over long distances while ensuring the safety and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport freight to various destinations while maintaining accurate logs of mileage, fuel use, and delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Load and unload freight as necessary, utilizing forklift equipment when required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any potential issues that may arise during transit. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed to ensure optimal performance. Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all company policies regarding safety and conduct.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred, along with familiarity with freight handling procedures. Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick troubleshooting during long hauls. Previous experience in logistics or transportation is advantageous but not mandatory. Forklift certification is desirable for loading and unloading cargo efficiently.

We are looking for experienced drivers for USA runs, including routes to states like Washington and California. Extra pay will be provided for pickups and deliveries on these routes.
