Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Long Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive long-haul trucks to transport goods between states or across the country
- Load and unload cargo following safety procedures
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members
Qualifications
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a long-haul truck driver
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and automotive repair is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading/unloading freight
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.19-$30.39 per hour
Work Location: In person
