Job Description

MSALABS is an experienced global provider of geochemical laboratory services to the exploration and mining industries in Canada, the USA and around the world. We have a rapidly growing network of laboratories in key mining regions around the world to limit lead times and transit costs and we employ the latest hi-tech analysis equipment.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail orientated self-starter who has the following skills and experience:

Responsibilities:

Carry out Logistics procedures in accordance with documented SOP's or recognized standard reference methods. Report any deviation from documented procedures to the Logistics Supervisor. Inform the Logistics Supervisor of any nonconforming event related to client samples, or other departmental operations. Inform the Logistics Supervisor of any unsafe conditions within the department. Follow all HSE protocols. Act in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment. Ensure proper functioning of Logistics operations by monitoring the performance of the equipment, ensuring adequate inventory of supplies, and practicing good housekeeping. Communicate general laboratory issues to the Logistics Supervisor as appropriate. Some lifting is required, up to 50lbs. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English. Detail oriented and ability to work well under pressure. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years' experience in logistics at a commercial lab or equivalent. Must be fit and able to perform the inherent requirements of the job.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
