From singular freight solutions to large supply chain management, JDI Logistics can integrate and manage a wide array of logistics services in both the United States and Canada.We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Logistics Support Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Saint John. The Logistics Support Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with carriers, as well as procuring competitive pricing for customers.Main Responsibilities Include:

• Procure and Negotiate carrier rates for spot quotations and maintain/grow our fleet of carrier partners to service our clients service requirements.
• Communicate with customers for opportunities, follow up for feedback on quotes sent, proactively enquire about additional opportunities,
• Identify key carriers/providers, attractive lanes and industry segments to target
• Owns, manages and updates pricing inbox to assure inquiries are being addressed by the appropriate contacts
• Review and Participate in the preparation of Request for Quotes/Pricing (RFQ/RFP) submissions.
• Monitor and maintain data updates in Carrier management System.
• Assist in developing custom solutions for current and potential customers.
• Update and manage contract rates & fuel profiles

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an undergraduate degree or combined certificate/diploma with related experience. A major in Business Administration or Commerce would be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written)
• Organized, detail-oriented \xe2\x80\x93 excellent follow-up skills are essential.
• Problem Solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
