Reporting to the Senior Warehouse and Inventory Manager, this position will oversee day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations in a GMP regulated environment. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising a team, ensuring shipping and inventory accuracy, and managing cross-border logistics. You will work directly with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, negotiate timelines, and continuously improve service levels.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping and reverse logistics
Supervise and develop a team of 3-5 Logistics Coordinators, ensuring safety, efficiency, and GMP compliance.
Manage all cross-border shipping paperwork (invoices, customs documents, BOLs) and work with brokers to resolve issues.
Ensure high accuracy in shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions using a WMS and SAP.
Analyze over short reports and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Coordinate carrier scheduling, dock activity, and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Work closely with customer service and directly with clients to negotiate delivery timelines and resolve issues.
Develop, monitor, and present performance reports to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.
Enforce all GMP, safety, and company policies across warehouse operations.
Maintain clean and audit-ready records for all warehouse and logistics activities.

Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
Must be able to work in tight or enclosed spaces.
Must be able to work with chemicals and be able to read and understand WHMIS & SDS information.
Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 25kg/50lb
Health and Safety:

Report any damages of property and machinery to your supervisor.
Ensure that you understand how and when to use the Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) that is located in your work area.
Ensure compliance with OHSA, WSIB, MOL regulations and/ or laws that govern "workers" responsibilities in the workplace (covered during orientation - section 28 of the OHSA i.e., "Green Book") and Compliance with Tradition Fine Foods Ltd. Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices, and HACCP Programs.
Job Specification:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain is an asset.
Strong knowledge of cross-border shipping and customs documentation.
Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP and advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internal teams and negotiate with external clients.
Hands-on leadership style with strong attention to detail and a commitment to developing your team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
