The Job:



The Logistics Supervisor is a critical role ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of people, equipment, tools, and materials to support large-scale projects and site operations.

Based in the

Alberta Oil Sands

(Fort McMurray/Wood Buffalo Region), you'll work Monday through Friday in a safety-first environment. Shifts are 10 hours long, starting at 6:45.

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be expected to

:

Supervise and coordinate all logistics functions to ensure safe and efficient transportation of equipment, tools, and personnel to and from the site. Oversee scheduling and dispatch of courier and service trucks. Work closely with operations, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure parts, tools, and consumables are delivered accurately and on time. Maintain compliance with all site-specific requirements, client standards, and Heavy Metal safety protocols. Manage inventory tracking, documentation, and reporting for materials flow. Lead, coach, and support logistics team members and drivers, fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize downtime. Oversee company busing operations, including scheduling, compliance, and adherence to all regulatory requirements.

What We Need From YOU

:

A desire to make a difference and take pride in your work A minimum of

3 years

of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience in industrial or Oil Sands operations A minimum of

2 years

experience in a supervisory position Hands-on experience with fleet management, including scheduling, inspections, and compliance oversight. Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) with knowledge of safe operation and movement of heavy machinery considered a strong asset. Strong understanding of equipment movement and materials handling. Proficient in documentation and reporting, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; able to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong communication and leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and safety. Professional designations such as CITT-CCLP, SCMP, CSP, or equivalent logistics/supply chain credentials, along with safety and transportation compliance training, are considered strong assets Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices Strong organization and process skills to meet deadlines and prioritize a diverse workload Collaborative communication style demonstrating an open, honest and consistent approach to working with others
